And if you think you've got quality issues with your FR-S, you're in for a whole new experience with a Chevrolet.
You WILL know the service manager on a first name basis.

My C6 required 6 fixes in the first two months I owned it.
Stay away from the plastic fantastic.
That's funny. I've been arms deep in 4 of them, both LS2s and LS3s. Each of those owners had zero warranty issues. Sorry you got a lemon.

Nothing against superchargers in general, but I really wish GM would throw a couple of turbos on the vette.

These new Z06's(Z07's)/ZR1's should be pretty epic as far as performance goes, i just hope they don't turn out having too much power(see Clarkson's review of the F12). ~550hp for the Z06/7 and at most 650 for the ZR1, after that just make it lighter and better to drive. More hp then that and its more a question of how much power is the traction control letting you have, which seems silly to me.

As far as i'm aware, the plant that was manufacturing the LS7 is only staying open to produce them for the new Z28, i'd be surprised to see them in the C7.

So the car that currently holds second place out of every single production car that Motor Trend has had around Laguna Seca (beating out such cars as the Porsche 911 GT3, the Ferrari 458, and the McLaren MP4-12C) isn't a sports car?

I've been researching C6 Z06 prices lately. I can't wait for this to happen haha.

Image this garage: An FR-S, C6 Z06, and to top it off...a CTS-V. I can't stop day-dreaming about it.

I'll just have to settle with my two cars right now, lol 1995 240sx and 2007 Mustang GT.

Not bad IMO, plus I get to drive our FRS every now and then

Why? You don't like the instant throttle response and massive torque a supercharger gives you, and you'd rather have a bit of lag? The only benefits turbos have over superchargers are efficiency (and let's face it, you aren't buying a ZR1 if you care about gas mileage) and peak power capability (and they don't need any more of that).

I agree that a car with an Lx engine really shines with a blower.

Saying the only advantage of a turbo is efficiency/peak is a huge miscalculation. You like ignoring facts.

No need to rag on a widebody when its there to accommodate the necessary fat tires.

They're obviously keeping things under wraps. More than likely a derivative of the LS7 w/ VVT, DFI, DOD LOL etc... And chances are they'll be made in Wixom.

Scuttlebutt is the Z06 approaching 600 HP & the ZR-1 nearing 700 HP.

Seeing that I've had my C4 ZR-1 19 yrs & no less than 5 C5 & C6 Z06s over the years--I'm hoping for a C7 derivative in the foreseeable future...

OK, what other advantages does a turbo have over a blower?
