was just looking at loctite blue. I actually just realized my old flossy that had an engraving came with a nut and it never really loosened up on me with the nut in place. This blank one i have now didn't come with one. might pick one up with the loctite at home depot since they're like 50 cents. also would be nice to have it raised up just a little bit like my old one was. i find it sits a bit too low without it and i tend to grab the reverse lockout

Is anybody using the perrin aftermarket reverse lockout lever? It's something I'm interested in getting. Link: http://perrinperformance.com/i-13324...-fr-s-brz.html

I think the nut was provided just as a way to keep whatever design was engraved straight. I, personally, couldn't get it to sit straight using the nut to save my life. Haha. If you want it higher, you could always spin it up a few threads before letting the Loctite set and it'll be fine.

the knob was sitting a bit lower without the nut so i found one at autozone. this nuts a little taller than the one that came with my old flossy so it's at the exact hight i wanted it got some loctite too although it seems tighter with the nut for whatever reason. All i have to do now is maybe plastidip or paint the white piece at the top of the shifter that's now showing a little under the knob.

Anyone know where on the Flossy website do you specify type of vehicle and engraving that you want? I got all the way to the billing info and there wasn't an area to sepcify these details. Really want one

I'd have to ask my wife, she ordered mine... I believe she emailed someone the yr/make/model and the image that she wanted engraved though...

I would try some teflon tape. That's what I used to get my flossy shift knob lined up correctly. You have to re-wrap it about once a year (usually in the winter when the metal contracts), but it stays in place very well.
