Best place to get tinted is from http://www.proguardauto.com/ the owner has been my friend for a long time. He is located in Scottsdale though. He also does some nice custom interior stuff.

You are going to the wrong dealer. The service manager (maybe the asst. service manager)at Big 2 tolld me the cars were built to modified. Now if you have a waranty issue that might be associated with headers, that would be different.

I hope you guys aren't going to some chop shop tint places. I can get you hooked up with the special treatment Arizona 86 deal. $160 for one car, $140 for two or more. Best tint and lifetime warranty included. http://www.proguardauto.com/

What are the heat rejection stats for Solar Gard? Which one of their tints is it, etc?

@oldpueblo Website is old and sorry about the music lol. Call or text phone # on website and ask him. If you want a certain type tint I'm sure he will get it for you. He is a cool guy I guarantee you won't regret it.

Legal limit is 35% total (tint + glass) usually this means a 40% or even lighter tint will put you at the limit.

However high quality tints like Suntek or 3M's Crystalline at 50% or even 70% will reject as much heat as cheaper limo tints.

I run Crystalline 50 all around to stay legal.

And Crystalline 90 full windshield...so never mind about the legal thing, lol.

Huper Optik, Formula 1 Pinnacle, and 3M Crystalline are all great for visibility and high heat rejection. Of course there are different levels within those brands, get what you can afford with whatever hue you want, etc. Then find a good installer. For what it's worth Danny's Family Tint in Gilbert on Market St did me good for the last three cars I had. Professional install, a lot of dealerships use them. Not all locations may be as good though.
