I received a check engine light (CEL) this morning:

Code P0108 - Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

No changes to the car, this morning was rather cool but not sure what would be causing this? Perhaps the MAP sensor?

That is a MAP sensor voltage reading issue, I would guess. Who did your tune? It's happening because of the boost. Talk to your tuner!

Yeah I sent a PM to my tuner (Moto-Mike) he thinks it might just be the cold weather. He's reworking the tune anyways and is suppose to have it back to me later this week.

Start troubleshooting before you start worrying about the DI seals. I get all kinds of snap, crackle and pop noises from under my hood (even before the blower was bolted on). I've accepted many of the noises as the nature of the beast. "Because racecar" after all (;

Who did your tune?

I am unsure what the noise is to be honest. It only happens when throttle is blipped at higher rpm, shifting at wot or clutch pushed in and throttle blipped. No cel's, no noise at idle, no noise when blipping throttle at a stop unless clutch is engaged. I have looked for any signs of possible rubbing of the belt but nothing. Problem is I never noticed this till the blower was out on. Probably because I never payed attention to it.

This is interesting and worth discussing. Why are the MAP sensors failing?

I cleared my CEL at lunch and it hasn't come back on, perhaps it was the cold weather...

If you want to make the drive to tucson on friday night for our local meet, I'll be more than happy to demonstrate said noise for you. And maybe I'll get abatter idea of whatever popping noise you're experiencing sounds like.
