Thanks chano!

As chano said they are JDM style with the original dark red lens design but USDM wiring spec so they are plug & play unlike the grey market imported Tom's that have JDM wiring and require re pinning the factory harnesses. The US-DOT approved Tom's tails feature a clear lens and side reflectors that are backlit. Those are the ones that are a month or so out from US availability. Oh may I add that being that these are authorized TOM'S imports (we are Authorized TOM'S US Dealer) they come with Full US Warranty. Remember that having a US Warranty is very important since these are full LEDs inside. Most people never think of this and buy the grey market TOM'S products - be smart and buy from us.

5124 miles
365 days 30 different modifications 1 hell of an enjoyable experience driving this car on and off track. I slapped a quick and dirty video together to review my first year of BRZ ownership in photos. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzxlxuHrmtc"]2013 Subaru BRZ: First Year In Photos - YouTube[/ame] It's hard to believe I've owned this car for a full year as of today. Here's to the next year and a few more mods and MORE TRACK TIME! :happy0180:

Just flashed my ECU with a new EcuTek RaceRom tune from Moto-East!
![]() The EcuTek Pro ECU software, license, drivers, etc was an easy, straight forward procedure. I just followed the instructions provided and was up and running in about 30 minutes. The tune that Moto-East sent me is running AWESOME so far. Right now the car is running 93 octane optimized tunes in maps 1 and 2 but there are E85 tunes present in maps 3 and 4. 93 octane driving impressions: The additional power is noticeable everywhere! The torque dip is barely noticeable anymore and the car powers past 4500rpms MUCH more aggressively and keeps pulling to redline where as stock it ran out of breath. Throttle response is also much better. The timing feels smoother throughout the entire powerband which makes the car feel more alive and willing under load. I had no idea the cams would sound SO VISCERAL in person. It's such an incredibly unique sound coupled with my cold air intake which changes the engine note dramatically at WOT. Had I not known to expect that sweet cam music to some degree then I would have been really surprised by it. I haven't had a chance to test out the RaceRom features yet but I should be able to this weekend at Road Atlanta. I'll be instructing and should get a few laps in with my student riding along. I'm not putting numbers on the car since I still want to install the Perrin Oil Cooler before I drive the car in any more long track sessions in the summer heat. That said, I am much more comfortable knowing the car has the filled in Transient Ignition Retard (TIR) tables from the A01 revision. As far as I know to date, only Toyota has acknowledged the issue so far and allowed ONLY their South African customers to upgrade to this new revision since determining that direct injector seals have been failing due to the factory tunes not having the TIR table filled in, which can apparently allow detonation at tip-in during fast high-rpm upshifts which can destroy the DI seals over time and potentially cause bigger problems. I can't wait to try E85 out after burning through all this pump gas.

Awesome! I love the auto-blip on downshifts.

![]() Had a great time instructing my student with a 987.2 Cayman S today at Road Atlanta. It's been sweltering hot today and the humidity made it hell. Not disappointed at all about not taking the BRZ out. Last edited by ATL BRZ; 08-10-2013 at 10:17 PM. |

Today I decided it was time to see what all the fuss is about...
![]() I love how cheap E85 is at $3.25 a gallon! Luckily I have a permanent E85 station 4 miles away from home so I should be able to enjoy it frequently without needing a flex fuel kit, which can be a big fire hazard depending on whose kit you go with. @moto-mike 's E85 tune is running really strong! This car LOVES corn juice! The torque dip is pretty much gone now and the additional power and torque across the board makes the car really fun. I'm extremely satisfied with the results. I might get it dyno'd after the header is on and tuned and see how close to 200whp I can get on E85. I''ll probably end up with around 190whp since my headerback will remain stock except for the axleback.

I just had to ship my CS style front lip back to the vendor (JonMotoring) since the shipping quality was unacceptable and the product arrived warped and damaged so I couldn't install it. Getting a refund and moving on to another vendor.
Any suggestions for a forum vendor who are selling front lips for under $200 and with good shipping quality would be greatly appreciated! My Perrin Oil Cooler arrives tomorrow. I need to grab some 0W-30 to switch over to when I install it. Last edited by ATL BRZ; 08-14-2013 at 10:46 AM. |

Was it actually cracked or otherwise broken? I've heard of other people being initially upset later changing their mind after setting the lip out in the sun for several hours. Just curious as I'm interested in the skirts and rear spats he has available.
