I think the ride is variable as many of us have gone to coilovers or aftermarket springs to get low enough to fit the wider tires in the front and back ...

I can say this - moving to a wider, softer compound tire definitely gives you a ton of courage going into corners with speed. With the stock tires you knew you were going to slide some, even with traction control on, but it was predictable drift. With my 18x9 wheels with 255/35 18 Direzza ZIIs I couldn't get wheel spin if I tried just from acceleration. Going into corners at speed gives you complete confidence, and I feel bad when I don't because the car is telling you to push it more ...

Even wider tires without power modifications to the engine would be even moreso than what I have explained.

if you didn't shave the rear bumper tabs then thats most likely what you are dubbing on. it looks like you have plenty of clearance there.

even though your tires might be a few MM wider than my 265's i'm more aggressively offset and i DONT rub at all in the rear...however i did also roll my fenders.

as far as ride, on the V3's if i dial it down, rides so plush.

Tires are Michelin PSS 245/35/18 front and 265/35/18 rear.

ST coilovers, lowered 1.5"

Camber is -1.85 front, and -2.35 rear.

Rears are rubbing. I'm going to have to raise the rear ride-height up a bit, and roll the fenderwells probably.

I was hoping for no rub, no fender rolling, and not too much camber, but it looks like I'm going to have to do something to eliminate the rubbing.

I was told that the Michelin PSS tires are big for their size (so 265 is more like 275 from another company) but the car looks outstanding.
I would have thought that +5mm would have been enough to keep you from rubbing anything other than the rear bumper tabs. Are you sure you are rubbing the metal fender itself? I have the same tire but +40 offset, and I am only running -1.6 camber in the rear as well.

what @King Tut said.-2.35 camber is ALOT for that setup to be rubbing.

I think I'm probably just rubbing at the fender tabs.

I'll get a friend today to help me check this out.

I went with this combo only after researching and finding many others who have this exact same wheel size and tire combo, so I was surprised to get so much rubbing.

After raising the rear back up, the car is OK to leave alone, only rubbing on the biggest potholes/bumps, and when crabbing in and out of deep entrances, but I want to be lower, so I'll be investigating.

Thanks, Mike

Are those tires BF Goodrich? I had those on my 135 and changed them out because they ran very noisy, they had a howl like big 4WD truck tires, but they handled well.

I dremelled the fender tabs down, and now no rubbing!

Now I'm going to drop the rear back down another 1/4" to 1/2" and probably drop the front another 1/4"

Yes, they are KDW/2's. Love them. Noisy tires don't bother me in sports cars. Especially when there's the exhaust, blow off valve, wastegate, and a myriad of other noises coming from the car already. Sports cars are allowed to be noisy
