Glad it worked out! Any plans to dyno it again to see how much power you were losing?

Tempted to do it, but the around $100 price is keeping me off it.

Will go E85 soon.

Well, this is not my daily driver, I already have a 93 map I can switch to in an emergency and I have a couple of E85 stations close by.

Having the Flex fuel kit would be nice, but knowing how I use the car, don't see it as necessary.

I doubt you were losing any noticeable power. Save your money for E85, just so you can have more power than me.

After trying Brandon's car, I wish you would do the E85 tune too!

The way that thing pulls, its stupid. Your car could easily do 400 whp.

I have driven a 3100 lb car with 450 whp, it wasn't that fun, and that was with even wider tires in the rear. I think I have the perfect amount of power now. I will let the others go for horesepower bragging rights, then still run better lap times then them at Sebring.

Alright, that makes sense! I was just wondering if it was something about that tech specifically.

Also, n00b here: how many readily available tunes can you have; and how easy is it to switch between them? Also, how do you manage mixed fuel (e.g. some 93 left in the tank + E85 fill up)?

Thanks

Ecutek allows 4 different maps in one flash. Mixed fuel is fine, just need to take it easy for a while (no WOT) and only mix fuel when tank is almost empty.

In that case, there is really limited advantages to FlexFuel no? I guess, since it measures the mix before injection, it can adjust to mixes a bit better…

I really feel like I should get an Ecutek soon… That torque dip is really annoying… :P

Can't wait to see what whp you get with a proper E85 setup!
