I really don't understand the lack of positive response when trying to acknowledge a fellow 86 owner. I've had the exact thing you describe happen to me as well.

It's like they don't give a shit about what they are driving and just bought the car because they thought it looked cool.

Well one thing is for sure, we will never see them at our Norcal DRIVE meets!

Saw what looked like an SWP BRZ heading down El Camino past the Hillsdale TGI Fridays at about 12:30am or so.

Spotted a red FRS in Dublin/San Ramon on hopyard, had some kind of lip kit and what looked like Linea Corsa wheels, very clean

I see a 86 a day that won't even look over at me. Maybe it's the orange wheels? That's sorta why I stopped posting about my "spots"

When did you see it? Might be me. LOL. If it was yesterday, that was me. I came there for the Dublin meet and spent the night at my friends house for the drive this morning.

lol yes that was yesterday, around afternoon time or so (4pm???)

Spotted asian chick in White FRS w/dealer plates on 580W in Oakland, I think you got on Grand Lake. Congrats on the new car! We exchanged thumbs ups lol and I went back to my merry way. This feels like Craigslist missed encounters...

I saw lots of them. One FRS, two FRS, red FRS, blue FRS.

No seriously... I saw one FRS tonight, DGM on stevenson in Fremont, had a TRD exhaust.

There were two FRS the other day on 880.

There was a firestorm FRS I was trying to catch up to in traffic, but couldn't. Car was brand new. Was in Milpitas.

Then a WRB BRZ going towards 880 on 237 this afternoon.
