That is referring to the blue Scion logo that lights up on/through the dash above the glove box momentarily when you enter. There is a switch under the steering wheel that disables it, so you might just need to flip the switch to enable it.

I can't see mine during the day. Only at night. I actually think the light up stuff looks pretty cool at night. If that makes me a loser, so be it.

I contacted my dealer last week for an update on my MT 10 Series (two+ months and still no solid confirmation). He mentioned that three people had placed deposits for my car, in case I refuse it!? They were allotted one AT which was also spoken for long ago. Could be some BS. I still get the impression that any 10 series that haven't already been spoken for are going to be snatched up quickly.
