An angled o2 sensor spacer would work as well right?

wonder if i installed mine incorrectly.. still throwing the cel at least once a week.

ive an angled spacer from bigdaddiesgarage. i screwed it in close to bottoming out the spacer, then tightened the secondary nut on it. should it be higher?

The angled spacer I got was a bit long, so I wasn't able to screw it in that much since the header to overpipe flange was in the way. I just used the secondary nut to tighten it down. If you're still gettig a CEL, maybe you can try backing off the spacer a bit?

Did anyone hear about the even more recent tooling changes?

I'm waiting on my third header, and they said that the newest tooling batch was completed on 6-7-2013....

That was for the flange fix. Those have all gone out by now.

I just ordered this header from you guys. I haven't quite found a video of my setup.. borla uel, perrin resonated catback, invidia catless front pipe, motiv overpipe. Which of your setups that you have tested would sound most like this...in your opinion?

Just cant seem to find one with the combo of resonated catback/catless front pipe with the header.

Probably closest sound will be our V1 videos. The V1 is a bit deeper but close to the perrin.

Just got it installed! Everything was super simple and... OHHH that sound! LOVE it!

Only one issue. I torqued everything down to spec...even made sure the flanges looked straight and were clean. The header is making a weird sound. As I've seen someone describe it as a tinny(not tiny) sound..not quite like a hissing leak, though. I've only made one 10 minute trip it in but it does it whenever on the gas. It's especially noticeable in the first few gears. I'm hoping it's not a leak but just that the metal is thin. It's not a pleasant sound.

Also, the pipes at the first o2 sensor are about touching...its a tight enough fit that you cant push a piece of folded paper through it.

I hope I can figure it out. I won't be able to keep it like that.

Hard to say without hearing it first hand. The walls of the header due to thinness will create some extra noise that may fit this description. I'm half deaf anymore though..
