One update, since someone asked on the other thread. I didn't weigh it before installing it, but I placed everything shown in the photo above NOT installed in the car back in the shipping box. All the wrapping, air fresheners, brochure, etc weighed 2lb 15oz (it came in a big box!). The shipping weight from UPS was 3lbs. I'm guessing that means it weighs less than one lb installed since UPS usually rounds up weight.

Nice mod -- looks good! Thanks for posting this.
Can you please tell us (or show us with a pic): if you have the rear seat folded down and you look back into the opening, how much does the painted perimeter of the trunk lid still show around the liner? I've been wanting to do this mod myself, but was considering going with a homemade liner, given that the BRZ part was sold out, and thinking that I could actually accomplish better coverage myself than with the factory piece. Thanks very much, and cheers! Dave |

Honestly though, looking at it, there are no good attach points in that section so you'd have to use velcro or drill holes. I don't normally drive with the seat down so it doesn't bother me. My real desire was to cover the wires and the holes, which this does. |
