I daily drove my stripped NB MX5 club car for a few years.
No carpet, sound deadening, aircon, power steering, hard topped, running on fairly stiff track spec coilovers, roll bar with side intrusion, intake to the firewall, headers and a straight through exhaust, no radio and sparco sprint V seats.
That thing made every drive fun, hot yes, noisy yes, but damn fun.
Not so fun drive 800km to and from Queensland a couple of times a year, but when I got where I was going all was good and right in the world.
I forgive the idiosyncrasies/quirks of tight sports cars because I love how they feel, sound and perform.
I gladly sacrifice creature comforts for performance, even in a daily.
Comfortable cars with creature comforts and gadgets are boring shopping trolleys in my "self opinionated" opinion.
Disclaimer: the missus currently drives a Mitsubishi ASX, hate is a strong word, but I really hate having to drive that car.
