Actually surprised this doesn't sound too bad at all! I'd personally like it a bit quieter. My neighbor has some stupid loud BRZ and it just makes me embarrassed to want to own one too.

Fail. 300hp is a crank horsepower estimate, actual dyno in link is for 235whp and appears to be STD numbers not SAE numbers. No smoothing factor listed... Undoubtedly the car made 215-220ish rwhp SAE

You can throw thousands into bolt ons for these cars but its not really worth the thousands you will spend. A drop in filter and a tune is probably the best bet for a few hundred bucks and a 10-12hp...

Exactly. You probably won't gain anything with a cat back. My local dyno shop put an intake, and cat back on an FRS and it gained ZERO horsepower (it may have gained 2 hp... they did 3 runs before...

I have a friend with an e46 who just put $3k into normal repairs..... that's what you do with older cars when maintenance intervals...
