We had the E93 for 2 years only so can't say much about long term hard top reliability but we had no problems with it during our ownership.

Pulled the front bumper to fix one pre-bulbed...

Pulled the front bumper to fix one pre-bulbed plusnut that started spinning, tightened the nut and added JBWeld around all 10 nuts to hopefully prevent any future slipping.

Used this opportunity...

Changed transmission fluid after 3.5 hpde weekends, kept on pouring Redline in a used Motul bottle as the Motul container works with the fluid transfer pump. :)
