Umm the RX-8 is more powerful and comes with an exotic hand built engine and will probably still out handle these cars. Also there was a time when one could buy a new RX-8 after rebates for $22Kish.

2.0T is a mid to low 15 quarter on a good day. I've driven several GCs: 2.0T Track, 2.0T AT, 3.8 MT, and 3.8 AT.

It's a decent car but lacks chassis refinement...you feel isolated from the road...

TRD SC for the tC wasn't intercooled which is why the power was low. Intercooled turbo setups running 7psi pushed the output into the 220-230 range.

Will the dealers try to gouge us with hefty markups when the car is first released? I recall it happening with the 350z and it's occurring right now with the new Camaros (5k to 10k over MSRP).
