Scion gt86 owners 2013-2019

Has anyone yet began to unlock the stock potential of there gt86 vehicles ecu with an "Openflash Tablet" provided by RomRaider written software updates, or Ecu-Tek hardware..??? Please note that this doesn't apply to owners of force induction FA20 engines, explicitly meaning without the use of a turbo-charger or super-charger bolt-on to the FA20 engine block...

Yes

Cool, so have you approximated and determined your performance results. If you don't mind me asking what are your guesstimated power and torque out-put ratings from the fly wheel..😀

I have an idea of where my performance ratings stand ;even though I haven't dyno tested the car.. I'll share my values and tell you how I arrived at my guesstimated numbers..

+5 hp tune
+5 hp header

I guess this was all you did so far..
Did u try uploading tunning software yet ?

I have done the following :
1. Performance equal length headers
2. Permance Full cat back exhaust
3. Aluminum drive shaft
4. Turbo fuel pump that can displace fuel at 365Lph I think I gotta re-check that spec.
5. K&N drop box air filter
6. Openflash tablet tune, I just started customizing my own tunes for this hardware like 2 years ago, after learning more.

I just caught this gem:

The only the problem with a tune for this car minus any bolt- on force induction system is the torque rating.. Your not going to pick up extraordinary torque rates in the low rpm tech region say btwn 2,000-3,000rpm gauge until you get to about (X~>4,800)rpm or past it, the force induction has an advantage at high torque out-puts in the very low rpm region, that maybe the sole purpose of even using force induction. It's a waste of time of doing force induction just to say that your car can do 300+ hp because a stand alone tune will give the same power output in the higher rpm region of the techcometer..That's probably why Toyota reps took so long to even consider a turbo.. The power gains are solely in the users tunning capabilities for 300+ without using any force induction bolt-ons to the engine... Based on what I've noticed, force induction for a stock FA20 engine would only make sense if your trying to put on extra 200hp to the fly wheel or drag racing purposes.. Enjoy my friends

300hp with just a tune

The Twitch emote OMEGALUL, a twisted image of the late John Bain aka TotalBiscuit, whose original image is also used as the LUL emote on Twitch. Used to express when something is really, really funny.

Millenial/Zoomer humor, basically.

This is like 'Back to the Future' but without the 'Future' bit..

Does ECU-TEK offer financing?

I can't believe so many of us wasted our time with stupid turbos and Superchargers. The answer was within our reach this whole time- methamphetamine!

Looks like all the tuning shops gotta start opening meth labs and hire some science teachers.
