Had a chance at a local AP1 with 17k on the clock, stock, some bumps and bruises but nothing major for 17k but didn't have the cash on hand back then. 1 owner, older fella who took it out on the summer weekends only. |

Have you ever actually driven one or are you just repeating what the internet tells you? I've driven both....... The S2000 is hands down more exciting to drive than the FR-S/BRZ. More power, better sounding engine, better shifter, better suspension design, sharper & more immediate turn-in response. You can argue all day long about steering "feel" and being able to "feel" what the front-end is doing, but the truth is you adapt and get used to how any car handles, and the better suspension design and super tight more responsive turn-in more than makes up for it.
I like both cars, but I have to laugh when people put their fanboyism on display. The feel thing is highly exaggerated. |

They are all over the place in Florida and California. Drove into a curb staring at you? Are you delusional, man? It's not exotic. I see 86s all over the fucking place daily... almost always stock automatics driven by women. |

Go a couple of hours north of me (Toronto) and they are all over the place. Around the southern part of Ontario they are a pretty rare sight and still break necks and get comments. Even the places where there are more of them the number of sightings can be low. They only brought 2,000 a year into the whole country and it is a big place. It isn't like we have them in the same volume as the US. I have seen maybe a total of maybe 6 in my immediate area in the last year and a half (2 driven by old ladies one of which licked my ass at a light).

![]() Nah, you got me. I've never driven one because I'm a sasquatch. I barely fit in a twin. I am quite sensitive to the feel of the car, though. I'm not so much into the numbers game as I am into feeling the car talk back to me. Even with respect to the tires, I've driven twins with grippier tires and understand exactly why they went with the Primacy. So, yeah, I'm a fanboi.
