I'd be curious to see what you could have done with an Ace header, as it already hits the 200whp mark (rounded up from 199.6) on CA 91.

A civic Si is alot slower than you. They are maybe slightly faster than a stock 86 see here:

http://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars...-65-6-roa0214/

Might "feel" faster due to the torquey engine.

Ya I would definitely like to know. I still have that motor on a stand I could swap it back in there if I should happen to get some one to lone me a header, then have Bill retune it. Im running 13.47 and the record is 13.32 be nice to take that back again.

13.5 is damn impressive. Are you on slicks? Very cold weather? I'm in Florida so it is warm even now.

Edit: I see you have gears and slicks. That's probably making the difference. Agree? Since I can only do a 2.2x maybe 2.15.
N/A I run a 225 17 hoosier on the stock wheel hit 13.52 Then I switched to a 26x10 slick 13.47 with 4.56 gear. I have gone 13.60s with factory gears. For N/A best times you need a cool night like in the low 70s or more and low humidity. Humidity really hurts this car's performance N/A I have lost 3/10ths because of 90% humidity. I launch at 7800rpm and run a 1.76 60ft

- maximum performance/ HP gain/torque increase
- sound increase doesn't matter because My current exhaust sounds good enough
- reasonable pricing because I am not loaded
Thanks for your help

Gruppe-S UEL headers are really good at a great price. They are comparable to the Tomei UEL. You should check them out. The quality is great. I have the coated ones.

I have the Gruppe-S UEL headers and the rest of the stock exhaust with a Stg 2 e85 UEL tune from OFT and it was a very noticeable difference from stock.

Thanks for the info. I understand the et now but your top end though 101 is crazy you must have a factory freak! I find it hard to believe that's just the header which I understand a borla is not the best. My tune is from one of the best in the country so that should be comparable.

I think it comes down to where you are going to get your tune from, off the shelf tune use OFT with openflash header. If you are getting your car custom tuned I would go for a ace 4-2-1 running e85.

I have a stg2 E85 tune from Delicious Tuning and their Flex fuel kit a PPE header and over pipe catless front pipe invidia N1 4.56 gears from weir performance hoosier drag radials 6 puck ACT clutch DSS 600hp axles Airaid cold air intake That is a list of every single mod on the car. And I have hit 104 in the 1/4 max speed. I spun on the launch from shitty track prep. Usually its around 101.82 mph Trust me at the time PPE was the best now I'm hearing great things about ace 4-2-1. You can only tune to what the car can do so if your header doesn't flow you will never see top end performance.

Ace header comes with an over pipe...so factor that into the price tag.

This is a nice comparison between headers. Same day, same dyno, same tuner, but different cars. Has some of the top headers (Ace, JDL, PTuning). The low/midrange gains on the Ace are impressive.

Right the header is key. Then the drag radials to get the launch.

In my opinion (and research) these should make no real difference to power output:

over pipe
nvidia N1
6 puck ACT clutch
DSS 600hp axles
Airaid cold air intake

Not sure how much timing your able to run but I'm able to run 29 degrees @ redline and afr is ~12.0-12.5 on e85. Which of course is essentially MBT.
