If there was an issue with the life of the DRL LED's on the Winjets, I'd think we'd have heard people complaining about it by now. The Winjets have been out for a couple years now.

I have Winjets on my car with the DRL mod and love them! I've gotten so many compliments on the look. Highly recommend!
Oh man, that looks dope!!! I just got my Morimoto HID kit in yesterday. I can't wait to get working on my headlights

Thanks for the chime in btw. I was thinking about that too, and yes, we do most of our driving in the day (unless you're Takumi Fujiwara of course) so the night usage of the DRL LEDs will be negligible in comparison. Cheers!

Yup, mine has the Morimoto 5500k HID bulbs / ballasts + DRL mod. The HID bulbs match really close to the LED strips.

One thing that I thought was crazy after installing, is how low the headlights come adjusted from winjet. I had to raise them _a lot_ .... they were pointing at the ground. I still don't have them quite high enough. Make sure you use a 8mm socket on a socket wrench to adjust, trying to use a screw driver will just take years...

Sounds awesome! I assumed 5500K would be pretty similar in colour to the LEDs, so it's good to hear that's actually the case.

In terms of the lighting adjustment, you're actually the second person to mention this to me. It's strange that Winjet ships their lights like that. Guess they have their reasons
