try sticking to the same gas station you fuel up at, haven't received anything bad so far, my chirps were consistent and didnt get obnoxiously loud even after long cruises or high rpms..
I hope I have the same experience. I'm taking mine in on Friday. I just bought the car about 3 weeks ago and have put 1,200 miles on her. I heard it the 4th day but thought I would give it to it's break in period.

well post up on here about your experience because i have a feeling toyota is just bullshitting us with this pump, it should've been revised by now.

I will do. To be honest I wouldn't mind filling her up with non-ethanol. But there is only one gas station around that has it and I would have to drive miles out of my way.

The way I figure is that I bought a new car and it should be a new car. Not one that sounds like shat when I'm at a red light. It's kind of embarrassing.

You guys may have better luck than me, but after having specifically received the green dot HPFP on my last trip to the dealer and ending up with an even louder chirping HPFP, I wouldn't have my hopes up.

I'm right above 4000 miles. December build. Crickets started at roughly 800 miles. I've learned to live it. Everyone that rides in my car hasn't noticed a thing. Oh well.

Thanks for the info.
I guess the new pump isn't good either.
I've put 800 miles on it so far and no chirp. I hope it stays that way.

just record and play an mp3 with sounds of birds, rain, wind, etc... and feel like you're driving through some national park

Finally took my car into the Subaru dealership with the TSB for the chirping noise and the car didn't chirp. Was told to bring it back when it's making the noise. They also washed my car when I told them not to.

That would have me immediately back into the service adviser to tell him that I specifically asked for them not to wash it, and that next time I'd be talking to the manager.

You have to be heavy-handed with these guys sometimes.

First new car and first time going to dealer for service. I'll make sure to be heavy handed next time. Thanks.

Take a video on your phone of the chirps. They can't deny that. If they do, then they are jerks and find a new dealership that actually cares.

There isn't a "fix" for the chirping. Its not the HPFP or atleast the ones they are replacing peoples with. Just be patient.
