Never mind the fact that you put the code into the MoTeC in the first place...

Talk about a easy way to tune with out a dyno. Talk about using the data to setup traction control or other mapping features. This is extremely promising

However this logic is super repeatable -- stick to the same road, same direction, etc. and it'll be the same results every hit (baring conditions stay the same). Once you start to hit wheel spin (or just too much slip) then the "effective power" will flat line and/or just drop off (as you're not longer putting it to use in accelerating the vehicle), so for fine tuning and some road tuning on the road -- absolutely useful. If something's fishy with your motor/setup (boost leak, etc) the power output will drop too, so it'll show up as well. Once you have the TC dialed in and actually get on the TC it'll obviously hold the vehicle at a specific power output (as more spins the tire). |

We haven't setup my traction control yet but I'm really excited to do it eventually. Rolling launch as well. Going to make a few hits down the track without it first to collect some data.

![]() The package motec sells doesn't include any rolling launch logic. It's got a generic Anti Lag class, but it doesn't even come close to how my rolling launch works

Yeah my buddy built the package on mine. Actually waiting for the final license to get back from motec so I can flash my actual ecu and stop using the m1 developer ecu. He's a motec nut, Obsidian Motorsport

VitViper,
The logic behind this is solid, I am super stoked to see where this goes. NOW if you could just do the same with ECUTEK......lol

Currently I have the ECU sampling and calculating at 50hz, which should be more than plenty... but if not I can certainly run it faster ![]() Obviously you can skew the results if you want to though.. grab some gears down a big down hill grade... lol |
