TRD r just over priced... For people on a budget TEIN will out do TRD for any coilover upgrades, Project-Mu would be a far better option brakes wise blah blah blah...... (^.^)
you get what you pay for. seems to me like you have an irrational hatred of TRD parts, so have fun with that.

Since your in Cali you're going to need to consult with a lawyer . Actually you should look for a good tune shop and ask them. I'm sure some of them make a living getting modded cars to pass the emissions tests.

In Kentucky we don't have emission testing. So even though there is many federal laws that prohibit tampering there is none or almost zero enforcement. yay for the Commonwealth.
That was a jk, and tampering with your ecu must be refer'd to Cali because it's def not illegal here

I went to SoCal about a month ago and took a ride with my BIL, in his EvoX and he is very big car guy, he was explaining some of cali's laws and reg's, screw that, and apparently they get worse every year

Sorry, did I read it correctly? Project-Mu vs TRD calipers? I don't remember Project-Mu been cheap. They're pretty high up there on the price tag. Yes, they do make awesome brakes... but it comes w the price (just like Endless)

I know it, about the jet fuel . I believe they scan the ECU, perform a visual inspection, and perform a "sniffer" test. CARB is massively overbearing and they will only get worse. And there's 12 other states with California style emissions, mostly around Cali and New York.

AFTER reading all the comments
my conclusion is this

LOL
naaah just kidding
thnks for all your comments
seems like everybody hates TRD USA even when they have 32 years in this business and access to TRD日本 info.
but i think you have more right to say that cause you live in USA.
i didnt know the quality get down after the years.

not everyone hates TRD USA. they don't always have everything, but a lot of the stuff they do have is of acceptable quality.

But at a ridiculous price. Re-branded, acceptable companies' parts, with a price premium.

not always. my TRD short shifter w/ knob and TRD head gasket for my MR2 are both bespoke pieces from TRD, very high quality, and unavailable from any other company.

So's the diff my buddy ordered for his Supra, AFAIK. Probably NOS (new-old stock, not nitrous). But these cars are from the height of TRD. Nowadays it's not like that. It's just an extra middleman's mark-up for acceptable aftermarket companies' product.
