Monterey County eh? Lucky you! I used to ride my motorcycle up Hwy 1 from LA to Laguna Seca "back in the day" and now that I'm up in the PNW... hoping I get a chance to take the FR-S down to Central CA and drive Hwy 1.

For work, I'm often working in different spots all over the country and my work truck is a Chevy 1500. When I come back home after a month and get into my car, it's such an amazing feeling. Shit eating grin as soon as I grab my keys for the car.

I feel the exact same way. My BRZ is in the shop for insures repairs, so I've got an Altima. I hate it. My wife hates it too (and is now considering a BRZ for herself).

My wife loves driving mine. She's hinting about an RS-1.

Mine has to learn manual first. Although I wouldn't mind if she got automatic either.

Hahaha... really? Of course you tried to explain to her that it's practically a roll of bubble wrap on wheels.

"It is too low. A truck is going to go right over us"
"People are staring at me"
"It is way too bumpy and hurts my back" (accompanied by a little gasp every time I go over a pebble)
"It is too loud the police are going to chase us"
"Don't go around corners so fast you are going to kill us"
"Slow down, slow down, slow down, slow down" Exasperated sigh.
"I can't get in"
"I can't get out"
"What do you mean it uses premium gas? You didn't tell me it uses premium gas. Premium gas is expensive. Can't you use regular gas? Mine just needs regular gas. You should just use regular gas"
" I don't like looking at the door handles of the car beside me."
" OH NO, OH NO, OH NO SLOW DOWN FOR THOSE RAIL ROAD TRACKS! AAAAGGGGHHHHH"

All real quotes from her two rides for a grand total of 20 minutes spent in my car (and no, as much as this sounds bad she is not normally a raging bitch she just does not like to ride in my car).

My wife just gives me a sarcastic look when I flash/wave at other twins.

These cars aren't for everyone, that's for sure.
All I know is now I'm wracking my brain for a 4-door that can handle itself somewhat like the Twins....
