This is a serious issue? Probably change your foot positioning...instead of using the side of your foot, or your heel, or whatever you're using.... use the ball of your foot squarely on the middle of the pedal. Like the gas pedal....but with your left foot...and the clutch pedal.

I've never had this happen either that I'm aware of on any clutch pedal, so I suspect it's your foot positioning as well.

You may need to adjust your seating position or the manner in which you actually interact with the pedal. You could obviously put some grip-tape on the pedal, but you shouldn't need to. You don't left-foot brake do you (that might contribute to your foot being in an odd position for the clutch)?

It usually happens with well-endowed men, because their legs are forced further apart .......

Those advanced maneuvers are for people who can keep their foot on the clutch while driving normally.

If it's raining, I usually rub my left foot shoe on the carpet while the car warms up for ~30 seconds.

I've actually noticed this now and then. My solution is to crank up the heat and put it to the bottom vents. Dries pretty quickly

Bring it to the Toyota/Scion dealership and tell them your issue with the pedal.

They will start searching their inventory and will switch you an automatic FR-S to ensure this issue will NEVER happen again.

It will cost you though.

but seriously all jokes aside, like what someone said earlier, this never happens to me in any of my cars. How does it even happen?
