@WTFfrs yeah i do get a clunk on the front when airing out on my airlift kit. As for OP i do have clunking noise in the rear but it sounds like just on thebrear right side. Im takingg it back to the shop to check if it might be my lca or sway bars

Question for you guys, do you guys hear popping in the front when you air up? I heard its common on double bellow but just want to make sure.
I ran it all the way down to 30 psi, the clunking kind've stopped on smaller bumps but it scrubbed pretty bad lol. I run a fairly aggressive wheel setup so I need them pretty high. I get what you mean though, compromising slamability for comfort/no more clunk but I like to fully slam the car so my compromise is now just to put up with the noise. Funny thing is, I'm now totally immune to it

And yeah I also hear the popping

Yeah for some people it's left, others it's right. It started out only on the left for me and now its both sides.

i hear air force suspension is pretty good. Airlift makes great struts... i just wish i went with accuair for management though.

Agreed, Struts are good everything else is crap. The V2 system is hopeless. If you have a leak, instead of maintaining air pressure within a certain number of psi it will only pump them back up if they drop below a certain percentage (like 25% or so) which means that if your running low psi and develop a leak on the move your basically scraping on the ground before the system does anything about it! Presets are hit and miss at best, if you're hoping to run very specific psi then forget about it unless you wanna roll in manual mode all the time. And it's just plain hard to use....

The good thing about air systems is they're mostly interchangeable. I'll be swapping out my rears for better quality units and most likely choose accuair for management too. Not even gonna look at 3H/3P, since the V2 is just a simple numbers based system using solenoids, not exactly new technology and yet they managed to mess it up. So if they can make something so simple seem so hard then I doubt they've made many quantum leaps with the new systems...

I agree. Im in manual mode 90% of the time so i know exactly what you are talking about. Although i got the whole system for the steal, I'm happy I'm on air in general. I will definitely go accuair in the future and also the rear struts are the only main problem i have.

chiming in, its not just you guys. I have that horrible noise in the rear too! Since my wheel setup is also aggressive (9.5 +10) i need to air up a lot more to not rub. Waiting to buy upper control arms to clear the rear quarter fenders, but at the moment my rear PSI is almost at 60 for ride height.. clunking since day 1. I agree with the management also. it can never air it down to the proper psi in 1 go. I have to do it one or two more times to dial it in more accurately.

I am having the same issue with the rear bags making a clunking noise while going slow over bumpy roads.. It's terrible but I'm getting used to the noise now. Has anyone heard anything from airlift about this?

Lower the rear air pressure. I ride at 45 - 50 PSI. Anything over 58 clunks without more weight in the car.
