Dealer ordered 2 clips. Ill trust them this time. Going back nexy tuesday. Hallelujah! They taking off transmission to check for other oddities. Urgh. Clip will take an hour of work they say.

Mine creaks ever now and then. I found that the rubber mat scion Gave me slid under the dead pedal and made it more loose. The pedal shifted side to side and I found that in my case when I pushed it left (towards outside) it stopped the creak and let the pedal sit more firmly. Also got weather tech to stop so I don't need to worry about scion mat sliding under the pedal again.

They say they tightened the clips when I brought it in. It worked for about a week, now its as bad as ever. I just want a temporary fix until I get time to go back. @Packofcrows how did you tighten the clips?

mine has been loose since the first month i have owned it..
been over 2 years... havent fixed it yet |

Sorry forgot to update. Dealer replaced pins that hold pedal. It's firm now. I was just worried it might pop off in a long drive... Took them like 45min-1hr approx.
I recommend 3M tape due to safety concerns.
