I might sell mine and get another if a newer generation comes out. Like how the S2000s had the AP1 - AP2.

I bought my 2015 Ultramarine FRS is August of this year. My Plan is for me and my wife to use for about 5 years and then hand it down to my daughter for her first car. We hope that she likes it 5 years from now!

Until something cooler comes out in the same price range with possibly more power, with the way things are looker thats not gonna happen ANY time soon. Unless an automaker has it under wraps.

I expect 10 years then it's decide what I need to do vehicle wise. If the S-FR comes as a convertible, I might hold onto the FRS for bad weather/winter. Buy the S-FR second year of production and have top down fun for spring, summer and early fall.

I'll be 73 in ten years though, and may need a self driving car to make sure I can get to a hospital in emergencies!!

As for that T-Coat guy, sooner he leaves, the sooner we get to talk about him behind his back!!

Keeping this car forever. Since it's a new car with relatively awesome gas mileage, its not heavy on the wallet. Saving up to buy a house by the time I'm 30.

After that, I'll see what the situation is regarding finances and what next car is out there.

Year 2021.. damn lol

Yes, plans do change.

I have a very special attachment to the car after following it since 2009. My dad bought the FR-S in 2013 and sold it because of the lack of practicality relative to our needs at the time.

I told myself I would get one after college. I graduated May. I got a job June. I reserved the BRZ Series.HyperBlue in July. And I bought it in September, it is the first car i've ever bought myself so it is really special!

If I have grandchildren or something like that, it would be really cool to show them "grandpa's first car." Maybe it will teach them a lesson about valuing their things.

My answer would've been "Forever until I die," by the way...

But AP1>AP2

Too many variables in life, people change. About a year ago I thought I'd have it forever, 6 months ago I would have been happy to be out of it to try something new, 3 months ago I fell in love after having it for 2.5 years but see it's faults, good thing objects don't have feelings so they don't cry when you tell them they're not perfect and if the perfect opportunity came along they'd be kicked to the curb...

I'm fortunate though, I don't think a lifestyle change will force me out of the car, but the perfect amount of shininess could do the trick, odds are low on that one.

I would like to keep it forever. But I'm a huge rotary fan and that new RX-Vision has got me feeling some feelings...

I like the car, but I don't see myself hanging on for the long haul. I'd like to, but I don't trust the reliability. My car uses coolant, and I had a CEL once. Sure, that's nothing, but I just really don't see this car lasting. The paint quality is complete shit, so it's a matter of time before it starts rotting. I'm unwilling to deal with rotten cars anymore.

If the car is running like a top when my lease is up (Apr 2018) I might buy it with the intent on keeping it, otherwise, I'd only be buying it to flip it.
