SuperchAAAARRRRGE!
I haven't updated the blog in a bit, but we haven't been idle. The car now sports an Innovate supercharger setup, complete with custom Mach V Motorsports tuning.
![]() I love it! Great, instant low-end power. ![]() Now that we have boost, gotta have a boost gauge... ![]() More details at my blog. --Dan Mach V |

Congrats, I saw it laying on the showroom floor when it came in and was wondering when you guys would install. Looking forward to seeing your progress.

That is a sick looking boost gauge! I haven't shopped for one in years after getting an analog AEM.
Any thoughts on running e85 to keep cool since you're running without an intercooler? |

Just to clarify, an intercooler cools the intake charge, not the engine. I've had a few questions asking about overheating and whether the engine would "heat soak." The cooling system is adequate for street use; for road racing you'd want to get an oil cooler and/or a beefier radiator, but that's somewhat true even of the stock car. With proper tuning you can be perfectly safe and fine without an intercooler. It's just going to limit maximum power, since you cannot run as aggressive timing/fuel/boost settings as you could with a charge cooler of some sort. --Dan Mach V |
