Refund for sure.

The next time you try to buy something and the seller writes like that it would be better to just move on and not buy the item.

Absolutely go through PayPal. They have procedures in place for events such as this. Save all your texts/PMs just as a contingency, but PP should be able to get you squared away. Sorry to see you had a crappy deal. It really leaves a bad taste in your mouth with regards to the car community when you experience stuff like this.

Imho you have high chances to get money back but in future gather more info about used things you are evaluating purchase of. In this case if he wouldn't be able to provide complete closeup pics that really shows state of these as they would show this damage sooner, then you should call off deal already at that point. About the only case when i wouldn't be too anal about scrupulously inquiring product state would be for very cheap purchases. I guess this kit, even if used, was certainly NOT cheap.

"In order to continue with our investigation, we need documentation supporting your claim that the item is damaged or significantly not as described. Please obtain a document (such as an estimate or invoice) from an unbiased third-party, such as a dealer, repair shop, appraiser, or another individual or organization that is qualified in the area of the item in question (other than you).

This document should detail the extent of the damage or clearly explain how the item received significantly differs from the item advertised. Please do not proceed with any repairs or alterations to the item, as doing so will limit our ability to successfully resolve your claim, and may result in the cancellation of your dispute."

It's actually from running too much neg camber. The bag rubs on the inside of the strut wall when you steer. The less air in the bag the worse it rubs because its fatter. I run max camber in my airlifts so I've had to take to that area of the body with a hammer to keep it off the bags lol

Looks like all you need to do is go to a suspension shop that performs repairs and have them do a quote. Send the official damage quote along with photos and you should be ok. But damn that damage is bad. Those lower mounts will never come off. That guy must've really abused his car..

Please do not use this forum for "qualified 3rd party verification". Just because we can see pictures does not mean we can provide verification. For all we know, the pictures aren't even real.

Do yourself a favor and find a local, certified installer of airbag suspension, and have them write up a verification for a small fee. It will most likely cost you some money, but such is the case when you are trying to resolve disputes on your own with internet transactions of used goods.

The thread damage past the lower mount is most likely from excessive lowering w/ stock endlinks. My Ohlins has a tiny bit of similar damage.

The seller never claimed there was no damage. He claimed there was no 'damamge.'
