One of the only good things about cold Canadian winters is the summer tires firm up enough that flat spots are minimal. Of course you get some but they are generally small enough they will go away within a few miles of travel. People just need to be aware that they are there when they pull the cars out or else we will see "I have this weird shimmy" posts on here in the spring.

For winter, I do my rotation.

- Snow tires come out of the basement and go on the garage rack, to be installed the morning of first snow. Autox/track tires go into basement. Stock tires go back on.

- All cleaning supplies, fluids, and 'track box' into the basement cabinet.

- Start planning part acquisitions and watching prices.

- 2 bags of sand in the trunk.

I've heard if you increase the tire pressure .... that helps with the flat spotting.

This. Also, find nearest empty parking lot for donuts.

I have to admit...I boiught the car in late jan of this year in edmonton. Put winter tires ..blizzacks on it to drive to manitoba.
I cant tell you the hun it is to drive a car like this in snow with good winter tires on it.
I learned many years ago it is way funner to drive a vehicle underpwered to its limitations than try to reach to a vehicle up to its power limits while trying to mane composed.
idk if that made sence.......try again.....I find its why more funner In powering this car with wintertires and riding in a 300 to 500 hrp car.
Its just a hoot to drive. fun and fast all the time. very quick

Garage
I fill the tank, add some seafoam, hook up trickle charger to battery, park it in garage and call it good for the winter.
