According to a lot of online forums. Opti-Coat cures best in the sun. As far as water is concerned there's a time frame that is recommended to follow. Kind of sucks that it's winter right now. Cquartz has something similar to opticoat also

Okay stupid questions...bringing in my old car to trade-in for my BRZ tomorrow, didn't have time to wash my car today 'cause I got off work late today. Is it worth bringing it to a gas station car wash before bringing it to the dealership before trade-in? Or am I just wasting $10 haha. So excited

Congrats I saw 2 WRB Limted at Don Focksteader yesterday when I went to pick up the cargo tray for my SWP I picked up 2 weeks ago!

How much is the cargo tray from the dealer (assuming that was a typo )?

Ahh, no wonder! I saw a craigslist ad yesterday from Don Docksteader selling a WRB sport-tech (picture even has a sold sign). Was worried they were trying to sell my car from under me!


Anyways, just got off work, will be heading down to the dealership now!

Just picked up my car! Unfortunately it was already dark and raining, so I didn't get to drive too much. I'll try to post up some pics tomorrow. Can't wait til the engine is broken in and the weather gets better! I'll try to make it to one of the meets!

Quick question, is the engine supposed to be so loud from the outside? Makes a loud clicking noise, is this just the injectors? My 10 year old RSX didn't make this much noise! Good news is I can't hear the noise from the inside

I knew we can count on Don Docksteader! They're not like Open Road at all!

Regarding the sound of the engine; yes that is the infamous Subaru Boxer engine noise / direct and port D-4S injectors for ya. As long as it is not chirping at'cha you should be more than happy.

Make sure you only fill with Chevron 94 (No Ethanol) gas to avoid the evil chirp! (Yes, the RED nozzle)
