First service experience at Docksteader.
Pro: got an appointment for non-critical issues very quick - 2 days. Car was ready on time and I got a phone call letting me know it was ready. I was able to speak with the same service advisor who helped me when I dropped the car off in the morning.

Con: Regarding idle dip and crickets I was told that it was normal and/or attributable to turning on the climate control. Kind of felt like I was being treated like a girl who wouldn't know anything about cars.

Verdict: I'll go back to them. Maybe over time I can get them to discuss issues with me, rather than just trying to pacify me.

Hi guys, I just ordered a FRS from open road Toyota in Richmond, how long did it take you guys to receive the car?

Dealer quoted 2 weeks but I'm not sure if it'll be that fast.. Read somewhere that said close to 2 months.

I dunno about two weeks unless you are getting a auto

I got mine from Openroad Richmond as well but it was a terrible exp and they screwed me

I wouldn't put too much faith in their 2 weeks and would actively loom around at some other dealership as well

Might I suggest Regency ask for Eric! Tell him Jeff sent you. I remember him saying there would be a shipment coming in Dec so give him a call soon

BTW: Wheels are here. Need tires and a way to transport them cause I don't think everything is fitting into my FRS this time around

I was just at Don Docsteader, and they have a Silver Tech Manual BRZ available in case anybody on here is looking.

I waited about 4 months for my BRZ... Unless someone backed out from their order or business is slowing down as mentioned above, I call it BS.

TBQH I kinda wouldn't be surprise if it was BS from Open Road, I had nothing but bad service at both Richmond and Port Moody

Lol Just try to avoid any dealerships in Richmond overall... I've heard NewType Mitsubishi, Richmond Subaru, Open Road Toyota/Scion...etc, ALL BAD.

Kind of off topic but I just finished watching the Victoria Secret fashion show. *ahem* I'd sure love to have Candice Swanepoel model on my car 1 day. LOL!!!!

Someone did back out. I saw the car with my own eyes, it has been there for a few weeks now.

Myself and my family have now bought 3 vehicles from Don Docsteader. Their service is so much better, and Tom/Dusty there are a great bunch of guys.

Newtype Mitsubishi... don't get me started lol
