The cracks will only get bigger. You'll have to repaint or replace the whole front bumper if you see bumps starting to appear. This happened on my whiteout when some idiot hit a shopping cart into my car. Best bet is to wax it and give it a nice good layer. Depending on how bad your winter is, this could get alot Worse. So prepare your pockets!

I have small ones in same place but much lighter. Wax seems to have made them less visible, so I ignore 'em. I'd rather buy another bumper from a fellow member here than do insurance claim. IMO not worth it but if there's no way you can get another bumper, then by all means put a claim!
