I will. I am in the area frequently since our head office is just outside Detroit and I work in Windsor a couple of days a week.

around this spring/summer time I decided that I could wait to pay off the GTR (1.4% interest rate). Even though I had a corolla for a DD i hated driving it. I found myself piling the mileage on the GTR while the corolla sat.

I drove a fiesta st and didn't sense what the hype was about. Then I drove an FRS and as soon as i sat in it I just thought "i have to have this". Then the drive was just icing on the cake. i bought one 3 months later.

I was much in the same boat as the OP and lusted after one of the twins for years, following its development and watching all the reviews, owner feedback and after market support flourish.

Unfortunately I was still 3 years away from paying off the family car so I buttoned down the hatches, saved and worked overtime enough to pay off the loan in 2 years.

Finally pulled the trigger on an MY15 BRZ after properly researching financing options and hunting down the best price etc. I feel a greater sense of accomplishment after all that patience and know (in the long run) I made the right choice to wait until I was in a financially responsible position to afford my car.
