Congrats man, and I hear you on the wait. First it was seeing the rumors and then the show car. Then it was the production car and being sad the price was so high so waiting on the rumored cheaper one. Then giving up on the lighter smaller engined version and saying screw it all and buying a slightly used series.blue.
I don't want snow tires, I want inflatable bumpers all around. Much more fun to be able to randomly bounce off stuff and cause zero damage. |

Well after waiting for what feels like forever, I got an email from the dealer this afternoon! My car just came in and I should be able to pick it up tomorrow evening. We've been having unusually great weather in MI for this time of year, so can't wait to start logging some seat time!

dude you came out lucky..I waited 4 to 5 months for my 10 Series. Ordered in April 2013 and received in August 2013. I can never forget the feeling of leaving the dealership Aug 7th,2013. Taking her home and installing my parts that I ordered for her months ago lol. Congrats

Wow, that is a little longer wait than I could handle! I knew that it would be awhile, worth it though to get the color I wanted! I will admit that I have some things to install/remove once I get it in my drivewway. Going to do the clutch spring removal as I don't care for the vagueness. Also, side markers and some DiodeDynamics LEDs. Then I have to go back in to the dealer to pick up my mudguards and exhaust.

Picked up the car late last night and I can confirm that it is fart free!
Funny/embarrasing event #1 of 1000 in new car: -Pulled up to stoplightIt's all good though, new clutch to get used to! Plus I plan on removing the pesky clutch spring this weekend anyway. When I got into the car it had 8 miles on the clock, now it has 66. (Might have taken the long way home....) |

Wife was with me (8 minutes of the total of 20 she has been in the car). Pull out of dealer and up to traffic light. About 6 cars back in left turn lane. Only one car stopped up ahead in middle lane. Guy comes up on right with stare solidly fixed upon us. Wife says "that guy is really stari...OH HE ISN"T STOPPING" Guy finally looks ahead and slams on brakes missing stopped car by a fraction of an inch. Not a block from the dealer and already causing issues with the appearance. Cloud 9 level achieved.
