One of the coolant bottles had a leak and filled a good bit of the tray, but contained it all.

The big, shitty thing about Hyperblue, which you'll notice quickly, is it doesn't hide swirls or spots at all. It's probably one of the worst for seeing things like that. Also I hear good things about that audio system, just can't justify the cost.
Thanks man! I bet you were super happy that it saved your ass. As for the paint swirls believe me I know, my car is covered with them! All because the stupid dealer had it sit on their lot so they "wash" it routinely which means spraying it down and wiping it with "microfiber cloths" a la sandpaper. As for OEM Audio however, I swear I don't work for them, they don't pay me, I have it in my tC and it is by far the best thing I ever purchased. Trust me when I say it is like having a concert hall in your car. I kid you not, I have somewhat intentionally limited the cars I buy based on whether OEM audio has a sound solution available for them.

The problem is the best shade of HyperBlue is in direct sunshine but it's also the time when all the imperfections show...

In case y'all didn't see my thread over in the Engine Discussion... Broke my driver side axle at 3992 miles!

Slammed 3 inches and boosted.. = not a good ideal for axles. But guess who didn't change it?!

As for the axle, about a 40 minute swap, super easy.

Also fixed my exhaust leak @ my Overpipe and put my OEM catback back on, in place of the Invidia N1. Now all you hear is the twin screw whine <3

I have to admit, I love the polarizing views of this color. Don't get me wrong I love the car in sunlight. However my favorite color tone/shade is at night.

Good choice, I had 3 cars done with Xpel and no regrets

Ah that sucks...

I have 2nd gear grinding and the only way to prevent it is to either shift at a high RPM (~3500) or to wait until the revs drop when the clutch is in. Only problem with the latter is that I have to slip the clutch to when I engage it to 3rd.

Let us know what they do with yours. When I brought my car to show the tech, the transmission was smooth as butter so he told me to break it in more...

Btw 3rd to 4th is my smoothest & most effortless shift. Weird how inconsistent the transmissions are.

Daily Driver

Bought this car Easter weekend. SO EXCITED! Fell in love with it when I first set eyes on it at the dealership (I was there with my Subaru Tribeca getting a replacement part for the remote/key). I actually wasn't aware that Subaru had a tiny zippy sporty model (WRX is just not my style) until this caught my eye that day, didn't have much knowledge about the vehicle at all until I started researching it.

Our second kid is almost driving, so we decided to get rid of the family car, sell our Z3 Convertible (which was our "fun" car), and get this little sucker. The similarly colored "Shock Blue" Xterra was my first car after college. This color is 100% awesomeness.

My third Subaru. Definitely my favorite. Feels good to * D R I V E * a car again like it's an extension of my body. My heart hurts a little when I don't have to go anywhere (I work from home), and it has to sit in that dark garage for a whole day.

It was parked in the showroom, so they had to move three other cars to get mine out : )

I haven't driven it anywhere spectacularly scenic just yet, but here it is in the driveway!

No current plans for immediate mods. We bought an extended warranty so my "OMG LET ME SUPERCHARGE IT!" husband is hands-off for a while. But we'll see. He's pretty excited about the car as well.

Really happy to have found this forum. LET THE FUN BEGIN!
