JR SC is a good choice & they have proven good results in the dyno... but something bout the design I'm not a fan of. Edelbrock on other than, the look nice & get good dyno result too.

I can't believe I'm still reading this thread .......

Yes, @mikev77, there are race tracks in the state of Washington ....... but they are usually crowded and wet. And yes, we have freeways that one could open up a car on .... but they are usually crowded and wet.

http://pacificraceways.com/road-course/

So, I suggest you focus on tires, to keep your car on the road and a good driving school to learn how to stay out of other peoples way on the race track .....

@humfrz i know its wet there haha. I lived there for 17 years. Never looked into tracks. Used to live right beside spanaway speedway until they rolled over it and build a housing development there hahaha

I got a buddy who worked on subies(had a sti pushing 500hp) and he said thats a decent number and thinks the auto in the frs should be able to handle it. Someone recommended I check out Starks transmission cooler if I want to achieve that power so as to not fry the tranny. I think SSP offers a better torque converter as well that I need to check out

Ok so you want 300+ Hp on a DD car. That is a indeed a goal but again, why? Your Subie buddy says it is a good number? What is wrong with 220hp and increasing the torque a bit? Unless you are planning on a drag car then 300+ is way more than you will ever need for a street car. If you are just chasing a number as a goal then that is fine but I still don't think you fully understand what the impact of that number will be.

No I meant the 300 to 350 was what he recommended was what the auto would be able to handle for a decent amount of time. Realistically if i get the jr sc its going to put it at 260 270ish and I will probably be happy with what its at. But that wont be till january or february timeframe. (Income taxes baby)

Annnnnnd there we have it. OK I am sure your buddies will all be duly impressed.
I give up but do look forward to the future "this POC engine blew and now Toyota won't replace it" or "some idiot stopped in front of me is this totaled?" thread.

Good luck in your future endeavours.
