Your amber turn signals would now be the reverse lights and your brakes lights are dual purpose. The video below shows you what it does at the end of it. First part is the install.

Now that still uses the stock reverse lights so it it be as easy as unplug the stock connection? If so too easy

You need to replace the amber turn signal incandescent lights with white LED's also. Besides that it is mainly just plugging in some wires. Only tools needed is a flathead for the plastic clips, pliers to tap into the reverse light power, and 20 minutes of free time from what I gathered from the video. Haven't done it yet but I definitely will be before the catback install.

Yeah I'm ordering mine today as well. A few guys from SD86 have the kit and they claim it's an extremely easy install.

Just ordered mine along with 2 exhaust hole covers. FT86SF are probably thinking I messed up and accidentally ordered both. I'll get a street diffuser shortly after to eliminate any concerns about added drag too. The install does look super easy though.

FYI, I've been running the Diode Dynamics Tail as Turn kit for almost 2 years now. Works wonderful and actually more effective at lighting dark areas than the stock reverse light, even though I've deleted it.

I've got that from the video but it also had the stock connection/ plugged into. So my question was do you just disconnect that plug down to the stock reverse lights and are good to go?

Oh you're talking about the lights that this exhaust will be replacing? Yeah, I think you just disconnect and forget about em.

I'm assuming it won't though since it doesn't have any bulbs... And the reverse would be amber...

You could likely swap them with an earlier models tail lights. I doubt it would be hard to find someone willing to swap.
