If sourcing exhaust tips really is the issue, consider selling an introductory version of the exhaust without tips. As long as the exit piping is relatively large and angle cut, it'll look cool. Think of a vintage Porsche 911 or BMW E46 M3 exhaust, and you'll get the idea of what I'm envisioning. It's definitely not going to go over with the tuner crowd, but it will look tough and purposeful and be perfect on a track toy. If you have to dress it up, you can coat the last four or five inches with gray or black ceramic coating and laser etch the ACE Header logo into the top of the piping like BMW did with the BMW Motorsports logo on the E46 M3.

Alright guys, let the flames begin!
Agreed. You hit the selling point when you addressed my Porsche fanboy side. One company that used to make a full aluminum catback for our car (I think STS) used this method and it looked good.

Starting in 2015 they put larger tips on them, but they're still not the original ones for the GT86.

This is accurate, but I don't care for the look of empty exhaust holes either so it just gives me one more reason to cut it out and really show off the center exit

So we do have some experience with our Porsche parts using "standard" tips.

We'll start looking into this method in parallel with the tip version.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Without this forum we never would have known that something like this would be acceptable.

I think straight tips are the best way to go. This was designed specifically to meet noise requirements for quiet tracks, so function comes before form. And this way people can put on whatever tips they want if they so choose.

GT86 is a fun platform rather than their main platform. You don't stick around in the Porsche industry long if you aren't good at what you do.

The original Perrin catbacks for the first gen USDM WRX had twin tips like this and I thought they looked great. They were about the complete opposite from this exhaust in terms of volume, but that's not tip related.

I actively dislike the look of trim piece exhaust tips. Give me a simple slash cut on the end of the pipe and I'd be a happy man.

As for FedEx... I just got the customs bill for my JDL front pipe the other day. $70 in duty/taxes and $75 in fees.
