I just want to see if any one else has experienced this. I'm going to re torque it when I go back to work. I need the torque specs tho

Well, OK.

Let's see, tightening that bolt down.

Since it's not a head bolt, how about using a standard length box end wrench of the appropriate size. Just tighten it down till it's "tight". You won't over tighten it or twist it off with a wrench like that (without a pipe on the wrench.....).

Oh, you can't reach it with a box end wrench ...... OK, you may use a ratchet, no bigger than 3/8" drive. Tighten till it's "tight" ..... that's as tight as you can get it using only one hand ..... and NOT using your other hand or foot for leverage.

Well, OK ....... so, ol humfrz is out of touch ......

How about torqueing it down to about 15 ft lbs.

If the bolt twists off ..... I was wrong ..... if the bolt falls out after you have driven a ways ...... I was wrong ......

By this time someone should come along to tell ol humfrz that he doesn’t know what he is talking about …. and help you out........
