I've had my car for a year and ~23K miles, and no crickets to be found.

No idea if I have them or not (maybe the fact that I don't know means I don't) but in any case I have decided to fully embrace them and make them my own. My favorite parking spot at lunch time...

Not gonna lie, it really annoys me! Makes me realize how "cheap" the car is lol. But I don't care enough to change my car. Just make the car louder

i still have yet to experience the crickets. I just hit 4500 miles and nothing . I was running Shell 93 until about 2500 or so when i switched to E85 and have never heard them.

It does always make me worry that maybe my hearing is already shot and I'm just missing it.

Granted my car only has a little over 1k miles but I haven't heard any crickets. However, I am a musician so I'm probably a little more deaf than others.

60,000 miles and I've never had crickets. You guys must have bad gas. Or maybe I'm just lucky.

Your high pressure fuel pump is running with your car off?

They get pretty loud at some points. And if "they are loud enough to the point where the car across the interection can hear them then we can fix it." -- Toyota mechanic that I met during a classic car meet.

I've never stopped to listen, as I always have fairly loud music playing, so I have no idea if I have crickets or not. I know the fuel pump on my car was replaced by the previous owner as part of the service bulletin, but I have no idea if that had an effect either way.

I have a lot of lizards in the parking lot where I work so the crickets don't get the chance to chirp. Nah, I've never heard any strange noises coming from the car. Smooth sailing so far.

The crickets are contageous. Trust me, if you have a car with active crickets and park next to another fr-s who hasnt discovered the cricket virus.. They will become infected. There is no place to run, you have to embrace the crickets.
@nyrip can vouch.

True story. My exhaust is loud enough though to where I can't hear them except outside of my car
