Gate season 2 have been interesting. Not as good as first season. I would recommend wait til whole season is up.

Dimension W have been really good. That have been my fav series for this season (other than Akagami no Shirayuki-Hime season 2).

As for Durarara, just watch first season & don't bother watching season 2 or new. Season 2 was a crap & it's not good as a first season.

Man I never understood the hype of Durarara...i tried to watch it 2 times...and never got to the last episode...furthest i got was like episode 18 lol

Durarara is big hype due is famous VAs, studio's previous work (Baccano) and so on. BUT tbh, just like Baccano, this series have only love or hate fans. There won't be any in between.

Sadly, Durarara is following Monogatari series' path and I'm kinda disappointed

Why am I just now discovering this thread!! I am very new to Anime as I just started watching a few months ago but I've watched and really enjoyed Attack on Titan and Seven Deadly Sins and I'm about halfway done with Akame Ga Kill and it has potential to be my favorite. And of course I'm trying to still catch up with Naruto and Initial D lol many more on the list though

I need 7 more episodes to finish Akame Ga Kill so far I like it reminds a bit of Kill La Kill for sure but more serious. On I love Coro that dog is crazy for sure

Stream on certain sites. Crunchyroll is a last resort for me (mostly because they don't have older series that I watch).

I got bored watching the show. I'll finish it eventually but probably never.

I haven't watched Kill La Kill yet but if its anything like Akame Ga Kill its worth a watch. Man that little dog is crazy!! First time I saw him in action my jaw literally dropped lol

I... Actually might too. I think it's the Empire's confidence that makes me laugh. They're utterly terrified every time it happens and it amuses me that they keep thinking they have any sort of a chance. The SDF is also incredibly efficient and it's pretty amazing to watch.

In other news, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU isn't nearly as funny as I thought it would be. It's not a bad show at all, I actually really like it, but man. I thought it would be goofy and cute and uplifting, that's why I choose it to be next after Your Lie in April, but it's a lot darker than I expected. It has it's funny moments, but I just feel bad for pretty much all of the characters. I recommend it, but not if you want a cute, slice of life anime. If you like raw, tragic characters with real emotions and struggles, mixed with a little cute, and comedy, then this is a good one for you. It has a lot of tropes, but it handles them different than pretty much anything else I've seen in the genre.

Wow. Thanks for the insight. I thought it would be like what you expected and it was on my not so short list of must watch animes. Gonna go ahead and move it further down that list.

Well they did make Godzilla anime before. If you want to count Pokemon as a monsters, there you go or Monster Ranch lmao

If you don't mind alien vs alien, Parasyte was pretty good.
