Yeah the only reason why I knew about it was because Rooster Teeth was talking about it. It's a pretty hilarious show, but like ichitaka05 said its high on the fan service.

The anime community is pretty active here, maybe there should be a sub forum? lol.

It's one of my favorite ecchi animes. I was at a LAN party last night and Monster Musume was brought up. I was surprised how many people didn't know about it. It pretty much became an inside joke the whole night.

Made it through Your Lie In April without crying. Yay, I'm heartless!

But seriously, great show. So raw and emotional. It did have me tearing up a few times. The ending was surprisingly tidy and didn't quite punch me in the heart like I thought it would, like Clannad. I thoroughly enjoyed all of it.

At least you finished the whole KimiUso (Your Lie in April) I'm more hearless by not finishing that series. Got to mid way of 2nd epi and said "Nope" and moved on to other anime in this season. Specially that season (fall '14?) had better anime imo, like: Akatsuki no Yona, Terra Formars, Madan no O to Vanadis, Fate/Stay Night, Log Horizon 2 (is a bit questionable), Grisaia no Kajitsu, Inou-battle (forgot the rest of the name), Chaika 2nd season, Shirobako, Psycho-pass 2, Parasyte and my fav Trinity Seven.

I still need to watch Psycho Pass season 1. I want to buy the official release though...just waiting for Funimation to re-release season 1 in one box set instead of 2.

After Attack on Titan, Gantz, Elein Lied and Death Note, I gave up on anime.

Death Note manga being my fav, then Gantz and Attack on Titan.

Ever since I just read political books. Nothing has come close to the above animes imo, but if you guys have one similar or a must watch like the above lmk!

I've only watched a couple of anime series from start to finish. Elfen Lied is my jammy jam. Samurai Champloo (RIP Nujabes). Everything else that I've seen, I've only watched a few episodes of.

So you want gory anime series?

Let me see...
Hellsing / Ultimate, Basilik, Parasyte, Umineko/Higurashi ga Nakukoroni, Ga-Rei Zero, Tokyo Ghoul, RIN, Deadman Wonderland, Kurozuka, Muv-Luv, Tokyo Majin, Red Garden, Terraformars, Mirai Nikki, Gyo and lists goes on, but my recommendation is Deadman Wonderland or Mirai Nikki from what you commended.

Since you like Death Note you might like Psycho Pass. Both psychological thrillers. Both dark.

I'll check them out tonight!~

Any of those anime's have to do with a post apocalyptic technological world? From what I remember from the early 2000's snippet:

A boy lives in the outskirts of a city (Tokyo?) that is sealed of/stuck in time and there is this energy beam/wall that surrounds it. Suddenly as he is checking it out, robots begin fighting and the military/police appear.

I can't remember if the town in the bubble is stuck in old time or if the world outside is. Damn, my neurons are overworking right now. I was like 15 when I saw this.

One Punch Man is a short cool anime, pretty humorous and plenty of action w/ plot still. Finished it one day because I got into it quickly lol

With that, plot I can think several anime. Yes, there were several anime had a same idea like that. Let me see. Ergo Proxy, Gurren Lagann, Darker than Black and Zegapain. That's all I can think top of my head (if I only count early 2000)
