None were adam. Adam was merged with shinjis father. The entire eva line was liliths clones. Eva 01 was the embodiment of shinjis mother and ayanami so thats why she was able to pilot 00 and 01.

During the third impact / end of eva you see the fathers hand fused with adam as he reaches for ayanamis heart. The his hand gets severed and one of reis final clone merges with lilith. That is when the third impact starts and asuka dies during the last battle of the eva series clones

I actually went to look it up because I was so confused, apprantely they were all adam except for 01... Eva's lore is confusing in anycase ...maybe this is something new they did, since the movies rewrite somethings.

all in all EVA is just confusing.

Lol, then the translation team that did the original series is completely wrong. (my info was based off of the old stuff, not sure if wiki update was on the new retelling)

In the new one they are on the 4th impact so not so sure what the hell is going on there =) I stopped following eva after "death/rebirth/end" because the entire concept became a tangled POS. Regardless of story (which I agree with you, with being confusing as shit) the final fight between Asuka and the Eva Series (original movie) was the best. The new stuff -- good production value, but does not engage or move you like back in the late 90's.

I still don't understand the hype over AoT (SNK). It isn't a bad show or anything, it just doesn't seem nearly as good as the hype it has generated. I got about 15 episodes in before realizing that the reason I kept watching every week was because it was a cliff hanger show. Reminds me of DBZ. 5 minutes of exciting stuff at the beginning, 15 minutes of mush, and 5 minutes at the end to leave you hanging till next week. Most of the content to me seems pretty meh though.
