What anime made you cry. Good example for me I can think top of my head
1. Grave of Firefly
2. Cross Game (1st episode)
3. Code Geass R2 (last episode)

Yeah, when I was watching CG R2 ( when Lelouch died), ninjas were cutting onion all over the place. LOL Same goes to Clannad AS.

5cm per sec? Hm... I've watch that movie, but it wasn't cryer for me. BUT it had a nice story for sure.

I just finish watching Isekaino Seikishi Monogatari OVAs and I think I found my new favorite anime. It has everything i want in an anime: Action, Story, Comedy, Harem, Strong Protagonist, Romance elements. Not to mention its from the Tenchi Universe which I loved watching in the 90s.

FMA: Brotherhood. Still my absolute favorite. Awesome soundtrack.. great story.. humor.. a little bit of the spiritual stuff. Iono there's a lot of meaning behind all the 'Alchemy' stuff than just equal representation of something.

"To gain, something with equal value must be given." or "equivalent exchange" is true for chemistry and real world. I find the philosophy behind FMA : brotherhood is meaningful.
