I did enjoy the ending at least.
Ahagon Umiko was pretty funny.
New game was good... I was hoping lil bit more longer season.

Which one you like more? Love Live or The Idolm@ster?

For me, I like The Idolm@ster due to they had way better characters & storyline. Music... we're tie, maybe Love Live was upper.

I haven't watched Im@s yet, been wanting to. Love Live was actually my first idol anime, discovered it by accident because of the Love Live mobile game..

I do hear that people like the first series of im@s over LL but the next series after go downhill.

I finished final stage. What would you recommend for an anime noob? I like subs, and what I liked most about Initial D was the innocence and honesty in the way the characters presented themselves emotionally.

It's tough to describe but it's how the dialog doesn't talk down to the audience the way hollywood does. Does that make any sense?

Oh my, a convert! Just like other forms of media, there are many genres to choose from. What are you interested in? I'm sure we all can suggest a few titles. Or we can just spout of a few popular titles.

I have no idea. I just see it as a potentially brilliant alternative to U.S. American commercial brainless bullshit. Initial D had some really beautiful human qualities. I enjoyed the character development as much as the plot.

As long as that aspect is strong, it could be practically anything.

(That's why I watch anime, not because its "huurrr Japanese > anything" but I can't watch American content anymore, save *some* shows.)

One of the more popular shows that I enjoyed was Death Note. All the trailers I found contained spoilers so here's a page of the synopsis.

I also enjoyed Monster, which was a crazy ride.

You'll like it, I binged all 74 episodes over 3 or 4 days I think. Very few shows reeled me in like that.

What kind of genre? Action? Sports? Romance? Comedy?

I think not so much sports or romance. It would be interesting to find a good complex story that delves into the technical a little like Initial D did. It was rewarding to experience plausible dialogs and scenarios.

Not always, mind you but It was cool when Bunta and the old guys layed down some knowledge.
