I was JUST in an M235i yesterday, and there is more room in the back seats. Not a lot, but instead of chopping off rear passengers whole legs, you would only need to cut off half.

Joking aside though, there IS more legroom in the M235i, at least. Granted, that doesn't really say much, but if I had to sit in the back of one of the cars, the 2 series would be it.

Haha yeah it's not a limo back there but would be nice to actually properly take more than one person for a ride unlike our cars..

Just look at this thing!! dunno but the stance reminds me of a 70s F1 car

Shame no M mirrors but easily remedied

On a side note, do you think it would have benefited from having the M3/M4 powerdome too?

Whenever I see a BMW badge, I just think of a unreliable expensive car. After owning a BMW 335i...never again. (yes yes I know 335i was very unreliable and its maybe wrong to bash the whole company, but my car cost 50 grand when I got...I expected quality and reliability)

Thought people might like my thoughts/input. Current list of vehicles:

2007 Z4 Coupe 3.0si (one of BMWs first with EPS)
2006 Z4 M Coupe (stripped out track car)
2011 e92 M3
2016 BRZ
Also had a 135i and a Cayman S for a while

Currently #3 on the list for an M2 at my local dealer (since 5/2015). Honestly, BMW has shit the bed on the release of the M2 in my opinion. They have literally hundreds of press cars floating around the country, but can't even tell dealers how many customer allocations they can expect for the year. BMW is spending more time and money promoting the damn car than actually producing it because they know they have the first newly designed decent driver's car in 10 years. It is alienating enthusiasts, and the bloated F8X just won't do it for me, although having four doors is preferred.

Combined with the fact they are cutting maintenance down to 3yr/36k for MY17 cars, and I am losing interest fast in actually submitting an order for the M2 (should my number even get called). I am sure it is a wonderful car that does most things really well, but being 700lbs HEAVIER than the BRZ?! Come on.

Not a car I'd throw out of bed. Not gonna spend 55gs on it either.

We used to have a mk4 uk supra twin turbo, 326bhp. That weighed about the same as this and that felt pretty chuckable

Most of my friends are into either trucks or muscle cars. They had a good laugh at this cars expense, with the most notable joke being that it looks like a car Jessica Alba would drive.

Jokes aside, I don't know but to me the car seems boring. Just look at that poor guy's face. Not even a hint of excitement. I've been watching the reviews and noone seems particularly excited after the road tests either...? Just the usual hype train before the "real" reviews come out and then listing the tech/gadgetry that will probably fail sooner than later.
