Correct, they will have an airbag label sewn on them.

Thank you guys, including the ones who'll see that I didn't get ripped off by anyone.
I was not mislead. I found the car online and went straight to price negotiations. The salesman was a close friend of my good friend and admits that he doesn't know everything about this car, especially Monogram specifics. My mechanic and him are both in a Subaru club together, as it turns out. Just a coincidence that I asked my mechanic about this car (fell in love with it in 2013 while in Japan, seeing it for the first time).

I bought it used from a Subaru dealership and then ended up calling Toyota and asking them these questions. This guy was sure that it couldn't have been branded Toyota and agrees with what you all say. The answer is obvious now.

Correct Tcoat, I was never mislead at all and was 100% just hoping that the car was even more special. I could not be happier with it. I was originally looking for blue or white and was sure I'd get one of those colors but then discovering the monogram and how few there were for sale, I decided that this one was perfect plus I wasn't going to need to book a flight and drive 1000 miles since it was here in Arizona.

Here's my interior. I could have included the seats but as stated above, matches the dash is the tough part.

It is manual transmission and it is definitely a Monogram according to the VIN.
The rims say 86.
It was purchased from a dealership, as I just said (making sure I address what everyone said here...I do not know how to reply to each post..I will learn).
I got the car for the same price I found plenty of Premium BRZs and FR-S base at, actually. 15k miles. I paid $20,400 and was very pleased.
Only plastidip is on the fenders. I removed the Toyota badge on steering wheel, doublestick tape indeed.
I like the fenders plasti actually and they go nice with the fake Toyota badges...I think I'd rather have them painted or something more tough/long lasting but part of me wants to know that my chrome 86 badge is still alive under all of that. I'll wait to make a decision about how to proceed with this.
I think if I knew exactly how and I had them, I'd put the Scion emblems back on the front and trunk.

I don't use the other headlights.
I love how they look when it's just HID.
Coming up behind people, they gotta be like "whaaat iss thaaattt?"

Sweet! I would have loved a lava monogram but couldn't find one. Sweet car!
Another for team lava!

Someone help me remember- the airbag isn't behind the plastic cover on the front passenger side right? I have a beat sonic phone holder there and I'm kinda paranoid now.

It comes out from above the dash.

I have the GPS mounted using a friction mount of the passenger's side of the dash...

Don't have any passengers on a daily basis so I guess its ok.

They are the exact same as the center console in the BRZ Limited. People keep making race cars out of these things and parting out the interiors.

What I would do is watch the member classified section and eBay for a deal on a set of fender insets. Paint them however you want. Remove and strip your originals back to stock, and keep them safe somewhere in case you ever decide you want to put them back on.

I'm getting ready to cut up a few pieces to go on my car, but I bought replacements to work with so I can keep the originals intact.

It comes from the top front of the dash and wraps over the edge facing the passenger. Something mounted on top of the dash would become a projectile. Something mounted to the front of the dash could come loose. It seems as though it would be harmlessly deflected downward, but I'm not confident in that after reading Tcoat's post.

I wonder what they do with all those left over car parts...I want some backup seats, and some backup engine stuff.

Turbo95eg6 - What?

You saying that you think I'm being serious?
Or are you telling others that they shouldn't?
As you can see, I signed up for this forum because I had questions that I had trouble finding answers to. I made an account and posted just these specific questions.
I'm serious. I've provided my questions, my thoughts and other information regarding what each person has said or asked.
I feel good being part of this page. I've never done anything in a forum before besides use them to look for information. This time, I had specific questions so I signed up making myself able to post.
I don't know what else I'll use the site for but so far, just in this thread, I've become even more satisfied with my car. Of course I found out that my question was noobish but whatever, I got what I was looking for which was a clear answer which no one really had.

If mounted low enough it should not be a problem since to bag comes from the top. Anything on the dash or extending above it could be an issue though. Like I said in my sermon looking at things and expecting them to go in a straight line is pretty inaccurate. They can head in any direction. There also of course is the concept that if you are in an accident that deploys the airbags a flying cell phone is the least of your worries at that point.
