Wait, just to be clear : I read Up 46ft lb and 36whp in the dip (with a full exhaust)

DAAAAYUM !

Hope this becomes available in Europe

nope, looks like the dip has been shortened and moved back earlier in the rpm range (still a big win IMO)

I'm wondering what's the best placement for a cat for performance and sound. Header or front pipe? or both?

^You don't want it in the header because it reduces the ability to have the proper radius bends on the secondaries.

I've never heard of a cat in the header. That's a new thought to me... MAKE IT WORK!

I just don't understand why there's a need to restrict the most important piece to the exhaust when 1 cat is sufficient enough in the front pipe. I've never owned a catted header nor do I ever want one. The whole point of a header is for the engine to breath better, right? One cat is necessary though... I cannot stand catless rasp.

Pretty much all new cars have cats in the headers. The closer the cat is to the head, the quicker it warms up. This results in a significant improvement in cold start emissions.

If there's room for a turbo down there I don't see why it shouldn't have cat for those with N/A who want to keep it as clean as possible?
