Yes, no tune here.

Ingredients
1 left-over turkey carcus
2 medium onions, chopped
4 carrots, peeled and chopped
4 stalks of celery, chopped
4 cloves of garlic, peeled
2 bay leaves
4 sprigs of fresh thyme
1 tablespoon black peppercorns
salt
1 gallon of water to cover

Directions
Using a sharp knife, cut the carcus into smaller pieces. In a large pot, add the carcus, vegetables, bay leaves, thyme, and peppercorns. Season with salt. Cover with water. Place the pot over medium heat and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to simmer and cook for 2 hours. Skim off any scum that rises to the surface. Remove from the heat and strain.

Ft86speedfactory has a pretty sweet header in the works as well. I'm sold on nameless, but speedfactory's might be a close second place depending on price.

Nameless has to release their header before any of this can happen.....

I've read this whole thread and therefore will not be holding my breath so to speak.

And now that I'm allowed to talk about it... It is possible for them to release an "open" tune for ecutek. ecutek now supports user level tuning. It's no longer tuner only. I don't see ecutek fading off like it did in the Ej scene.

It depends on if they keep the licensing fees or not.....open or closed is one thing. 1k for a tune is another.

FFS and auto blip are just gimmicks.

Will update with more info once we have some parts added to the car in the next 2 weeks or so. Hit my 1,000 Miles on the way to the dyno!

I spoke with Ryan last week. I will say even if it takes 6 more months, I'll wait for this header. But I'm expecting it much sooner. Not that I'm privy to any information that the general masses aren't. Just with all the updates, all the info, it's right around the corner.

I don't know what info your basing off of.... But ecutek self tune packages are in the same price ballpark as OFT. Except ecutek self tune actually has full logging and extra features like auto blip right now vs "coming soon".

Visconti advertised $900 or 950 as a sale...I was pm'd $850 and 800 from other tuners....

Not what I'd call a bargain for a tune you have to stay with a specific tuner for...unless you pay another 5-600.

They were first and have some "extra features" that most people will never use or care about.

I'm sure some of the tuners are decent. I'm also sure there is a reason none of the 20 plus Subaru or evo owners I know have heard of ecutek.

Show me a link for a paid OFT tune that includes the tablet/cable/tune for $500 as well... you can't compare a free tune file + hardware to a paid tune file + hardware.

EcuTek is slightly more expensive for the hardware than OFT, but now that EcuTek supports user tuning you could find free tunes just like you can with OFT.

FA20CLUB has ECUtek kits on sale now through christmas for $750 shipped. Just picked one up myself. Cheapest i've found for a reliable tuner. Cable, license, and stage 2 tune. Once Nameless ships the headers i've already paid for, they will adjust the tune for free.

Just waiting on Nameless.... Please release this year!

Yes and the table gives you a logging device and something shiny. Ecutek really doesn't give you any hardware.

A tactrix cable is $175 RR is free. I'm sure you can get a tune for under $300.
